The Goal

The goal of the game is to have the most valuable equipment at the end of the game. Equipment is worth points and can be anything from weapons and armor to vehicles and supplies. Players will also earn points by completing quests, which are tasks given to players by the game master.

Setup

Each player starts with 3 dice, a character card, and a token. Characters have different stats, which will be important for completing quests. The token is used to track each player's current location on the map. The map is divided into 6 squares, each representing a different type of location: city, rural area, industrial area, military base, wasteland, and forest. Players will roll their dice to determine where they start the game. In a three or four player game, one player will start in the city while the others start in rural areas. In a five player game, two players will start in the city while the others start in rural areas. The player with the highest total roll starts first and play passes clockwise around the table.

On a player's turn they will roll all of their dice and may choose to keep any number of them before rerolling the rest. The player then chooses one of their characters to activate and performs an action based on their stats as follows: I) Strength - Melee attack (rolls 2 dice), open locked door (rolls 1 die), flip over a card from an enemy deck

II) Agility - Ranged attack (rolls 2 dice), dodge attack (rolls 2 dice), search for equipment (rolls 1 die)

III) Intelligence - Cast spell (rolls 2 dice), use item (rolls 1 die), talk to NPC's (rolls 1 die)

IV) Luck - Heal self (rolls 1 die), find secret passage (rolls 1 die), receive quest (game master rolls 1 die)

The character's stats may also come into play when completing quests. For instance, if a quest requires strength, then only characters with a strength stat of 4 or higher can attempt it. There are also many different types of equipment in the game, which can be found by rolling a six on the search for equipment roll. Once an item is found, it is placed in front of the player and they can begin using it immediately. When all players have had their turn, it passes back to the first player who then rolls new dice and begins their next turn. Play continues until either all players have completed their last turn or there are no more enemies left to fight. At that point whoever has the most valuable equipment wins!
